The main event of the August show is being hyped as the "first tag team alliance of Sasaki and Yamamoto".
I think Match 3 might steal the show though.

We will start with some disappointing news. After 2 years of competition in the ring, where BattlARTS even created a sub-promotion to feature her, in the form of QUEEN BEE, Chihiro Oikawa has announced her retirement due to her upcoming marriage to Pro-Wrestling SHIGERU.

A very successful "BattlARTS weekend" held quite a few interesting notes. In the main event of Ryuji Walters produce show, Walter and Ishikawa went to another time limit draw, marking both of their singles matches within the past 10 months, both going to a draw.
Minoru made a successful return to the BattlARTS ring, as he utilised a standing HIZA to tap out Keita Yano. In the undercard, Yujiro Yamamoto was unsuccessful in defeating the big boss, but continues to impress.

In a pretty well stacked card, there are several notable happenings. Firstly, KyoSas~! from the former U-STYLE returns once again from injury, to take on relative new-comer, Yoshinori Narita.
Takeshi Takeshima then takes on the heavy hitter in Ryuji Walter, which will surely be a test of his resilience.
Super Tiger then meets his Real Japan evil counterpart, and regular tag team partner in a tag team battle.
In the biggest singles match of Yamamoto's career, the B-Rules winner faces off against Yuki Ishikawa, his ultimate test. It will be interesting to see if Yamamoto can combat with Ishikawa on the mat, and whether he can upset the Bati Bati Father.
Finally, Minoru (Tanaka) returns to BattlARTS for the first time since 2002! One of the pinnacle students of BattlARTS (before that, RINGS, a little known fact), finally makes his return, as he teams with his generation friend, Katsumi Usuda, against the new generation of Sawa and Yano.

Mitsuya Nagai and Daisuke Ikeda were unable to defeat the invading team of Tamon Honda and Kengo Mashimo in the main event. The match even went to extra time, with still no victor. With the 5th Anniversary show next month, the question is, what big game does Futen have to offer?

Keita Yano was victorious today utilising former BattlARTS fighter, Carl Greco's, Carl Sickle. Could this be an omen?
A big upset occured in the semi-main event, as the B-Rules winner, Yujiro Yamamoto was able to tap out the man who has defied him throughout all of 2009, in Super Tiger. Where will this lead to the new rising young generation fighter?
